Add a daycare rate
- Go to Settings › Services & pricing › Daycare prices and click Add a rate.
- Choose how it’s charged: Full day, Half day, Morning, Afternoon or Per hour.
- Name the rate, tick its taxes, and choose whether customers can book it online.
- Under Room prices, fill in what one pet pays (1 pet), then the 2nd pet and the 3rd pet and more. If you have daycare room types, choose One price or By room type first. Click Add size prices if bigger dogs cost more.
- Click Save changes.
Once the rate is saved, you can add Fees, charged for each pet or once per reservation, on the dates, days, times, pets or room types you choose. Drop-off and pick-up times are set under Settings › Business › Hours & closures.
Create a daycare pass
Passes pay for visits at your daycare prices, so add your daycare rates first.
- Go to Settings › Services & pricing › Packages.
- Under Add a daycare pass, click 5 days, 10 days, 20 days or Your own. If you only charge by the half day or the hour, the buttons count those instead. To sell half days or hours as well as full days, click Your own and choose under Pays for.
- Check which daycare rates it pays for, then set the number of days and the price. AllPaws shows the price per day and, when a day costs the same in every room, how much the pass saves.
- Choose when it Expires, from Never to After 1 year or your own number of days, and tick its taxes.
- Click Save changes.
For other bundles, like ten baths, click Add a package and add credits for stays, add-on services, grooming or retail products.
Sell a package and use its credits
- To sell one, open the customer, go to the Packages tab, click Add package, choose it and click Add packages to customer. The credits are theirs straight away, and the price waits under Uninvoiced items on their Billing tab until you invoice it. Add packages & draft invoice does both at once.
- Credits are only used when they go on an invoice. On the invoice at check-out, click Apply Package on each visit that should use a credit. A credit covers the visit’s price and its tax. If you sell a package on that invoice with its Package button, its credits go on the matching visits for you.
- The customer’s Packages tab shows what they have left, and Reports › Outstanding Packages shows every unused credit that hasn’t expired.
Tips
- Customers buy packages from your team; they can’t buy them on your booking page.
- Credits can’t pay for fees, and they can’t be used once they expire.
- A package that has been sold can be archived but not deleted, and customers keep their credits.
